Lenovo K3 Note/A7000 Plus- Marshmallow miui8

NOTE: Some friends are commenting that their "back, home and recents" keys are not working! All are requested to follow the installation process carefully. There's no such issue in my ROM.

Hello Friends,

Finally the wait is OVER! Presenting miui8 Marshmallow build for Lenovo K3 Note/A7000 Plus.

Just read carefully till end and act accordingly! Check major fixes/additions too.

Installation Method (Strictly Follow):

- Backup your phone, data, everything before flashing this ROM as i will not be responsible for any bricked phones, lost IMEI Numbers or any harm made to your device during this process, though I did not faced any such problem while I followed the following process.

- In order to flash this ROM, one has to be on Custom recovery (TWRP Recommended, available in the download folder i've given),

- Reboot to custom recovery and go to Wipe-> Advance Wipe-> and wipe Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, Internal Storage (all data, apps etc. will be deleted). DO NOT WIPE System- Important.

- Flash the ROM downloaded from above link.

- ENJOY Marshmallow miui8 on Lenovo K3 Note.

Below all the Major fixes/ Additions I’ve made to the Marshmallow based miui8 ROM:


- Airplane Mode fixed. Radio signals now appear after Airplane mode is off.
- Scheduled Power ON/Off works perfect.
- APNs do not appear after clean installation, now fixed.
- Sensors fixed, all working fine now.
- Video Recording works perfect.
- Still Images hangs after click, now works perfect.
- Apps not showing after installation, now fixed.
- Minimal GApps.
- Latest + Default SuperSU for rooting.
- Audio Output fixed.
-  Jio4g app now works perfect, no issues at all.
- Multilanguage.
- Whatapp Video sending error, now fixed.
- Hotspot fixed.
- bluetooth works perfect.
- Wi-Fi works perfect.
- Dual Apps working.
- Second Space working.
- Green LED notifications works.
- miui9 boot animation added.
- Also, there are more major + minor fixes not listed above.

    I know developer said bugless.. And to achieve this iam sure he test the rom with heavy using to descover every tiny bug that can appear... So if he discovered a bug he fix it.. So he need its time ... I appreciate his efforts..

    Finally installed, carried out my own testing, 10 minutes later back button home button not working, deleted, how could it take a month of testing ?

    I have successfully flashed the Rom ...

    Follow the below procedure to eliminate the Mi startup Sign in page.

    1. Clean Flash the Rom .. wipe all .

    2. Flash the 3.0.2.7 Twrp

    3.Flash the Miui Zip file

    4. Wipe dalvik/Cache after successful flashing the miui.zip

    5. On boot up .. when the miui homepage is displayed . Hold the power button and enable FLIGHT MODE ... ITS very important.

    6. Complete the Setup Wizard . This procedure will eliminate the miui sign-up screen.

    7.Gapps are included so don't flash it externally.

    And voila ... Miui Rocks.!!!!

    Note - Flash the Nvram Mm fix zip file. To solve the WiFi problem

    For better Ui and performance flash the below zips

    1.Renice Kernel v11
    2.LagFix.zip
    3.FixMenuKey.zip
    4.Dolby Atmos .zip


    Only One bug . Can't install themes from themes centre as we couldn't sign in to Our miui account .

    successfully signed into mi account...
    steps for sign in
    1. flash gtech9's mm rom, then start your phone normally.
    2. after os started long press powerbutton and press aeroplanemode.
    3. then proceed to on screen instructions and complete process to home screen.
    4. then reboot to recovery mode and flash miui.zip file.--> https://goo.gl/de23pf
    5. then start phone into normal. then open mi account app and sign in.
    6. then restart phone into recovery and dirty flash gtech9,s miui8 mm rom again. "don't wipe any
    partitions."
    7. restart your phone. yes now you can download and apply themes from theme store.

      in step 5 only use miaccount app. dont goto phone settings.. settings will force close..
      after dirty flash settings will work.

      Installation was halted by ''can not find device location'' error at the MI account.But somehow I got passed it using Aeroplane mode.
      However, I saw that sync facility with MI Cloud is totally disabled and none of my contacts or sms synced or could I restore my cloud backups.

      This ROM also works on Lenovo A7000 Plus AND you have to flash A7000 plus Modem patch just after you flash this ROM!

    Bro I can't download a theme.cant verify mi I'd.its freezed.and also color balance read mode are not working.. modems is not so good.. DT2W is not working..sometime I feel laginess..if you fixed those problem then this is the best rom otherwise it's worst..casue without mi theme miui is nothing
